Bhopal, 1 April (HS). Training for the polling personnel of all the assemblies of Bhopal district for the Lok Sabha General Election-2024 started simultaneously in two sessions on Monday. This training will be conducted in two sessions till April 5 at the designated venue of the concerned District Panchayat. Training started simultaneously at eight places today under the chairmanship of Collector and District Election Officer Kaushalendra Vikram Singh.
Bhopal District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Rituraj Singh directed the trainees participating in the training to understand the intricacies of the election processes. Rituraj Singh told the trainees that written instructions have been issued by the Election Commission regarding each point, which have to be studied and followed 100 percent. He said that polling parties play an important role in free and fair elections, for this it is necessary for polling parties to be well aware of the election process. It is important to be aware of everything from the preparations before voting to the preparation of ballot account after the voting day and voting time is over. All the government servants deployed in the polling team should practice operating EVMs adequately.
