Shitala Mata's Lakkhi fair filled in Chaksu, fair monitored with 80 CCTV cameras – News India Live

Jaipur, 01 April (HS). On the folk festival of Basyoda, the annual Lakkhi fair was organized on Monday on Shitala Saptami at the famous Shitala Mata temple in Shil Dungri located in Chaksu. Hundreds of devotees reached the fair. The women worshiped Sheetala Mata as per the rituals and offered cold dishes. Wished for happiness and peace of his family. According to mythological beliefs, mother's charanamrit cures many diseases including smallpox in children.

The temple administration had completed the preparations for the fair a week in advance for the annual fair held every year on Shitala Ashtami. The temple administration held a meeting a week ago regarding cleanliness, lighting, water and other facilities around the temple and provided all the facilities here.

Temple Trust General Secretary Lakshman Prajapati said that before the Lakkhi fair, special decoration was done by painting the temple premises. Along with this, two LED screens were installed on the stairs of the temple. So that devotees can have live darshan of Mata.

Seeing the increasing crowd and the devotees coming to Shitala Mata Lakhi Fair, the temple administration and police administration already took charge. More than three police personnel and officers took charge to ensure that there was no stampede or untoward incident due to the crowd in the temple.

Assistant Police Commissioner Chaksu Surendra Singh said that 80 CCTV cameras were installed for surveillance in the Shitala Saptami fair. In which control rooms were set up at three different places. Where the police administration deployed there monitored the cameras closely. Along with this, entry of vehicles into the fair was completely prohibited.
