Weather patterns changed in Pune, there may be heavy rain in the next few hours

News India Live, Digital Desk: Today is going to be a bit cautious day for the people living in Pune city and its surrounding areas. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a ‘Yellow Alert’ for Pune today, i.e. on Thursday. This means that there is every possibility of heavy rain with strong winds in the city.

Why did the weather change suddenly?

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a low pressure area in the Arabian Sea, whose direct impact is visible on the weather of Maharashtra. For this reason, there is a possibility of intermittent rain and lightning along with thunder throughout the day in Pune today. Even on Wednesday evening, due to sudden rain, many low-lying areas of the city were flooded, due to which people had to face the problem of traffic jam. A similar situation may arise today also, hence people have been advised to be careful while leaving the house.

When will we get relief?

However, it is a matter of relief that this unseasonal rain will not bother for long. The Meteorological Department says that the weather will gradually start clearing from Friday, i.e. October 31. The sky is expected to be clear and sunny in the morning, but there may be light clouds in the afternoon. The weather is expected to become completely dry and normal from November 1. Till then, the administration has appealed to the people to stay away from water-logged places and keep paying attention to weather related information.
