News India Live, Digital Desk: The attacks on Indian artists in Canada are not stopping. In a recent incident, Punjabi singer Teji Kahlon was fatally attacked in which he sustained bullet injuries. Notorious gangster Rohit Godara’s gang has taken responsibility for this attack. The gang not only claimed the attack by posting a post on social media, but also explained the reason behind it and threatened to carry out such incidents in future also. Godara gang member Mahendra Saran Dilana wrote in a social media post, “The firing that took place on singer Teji Kahlon in Canada was done by us. It has been alleged in the post that Teji Kahlon was a member of his family. They were helping the enemies financially, providing them weapons and conspiring against them. The post gave a direct warning to the singer, “There are bullets in his stomach. If he understands this then it is fine, otherwise we will eliminate him next time.” This incident has created an atmosphere of fear among the Indian community living in Canada, especially among the Punjabi artists. In their post, the gang has threatened not only Teji Kahlon but also his supporters. He has written that if anyone helped Kahlon financially or supported his enemies, he would not spare even his family. The post also warned builders, businessmen and hawala traders that they would be punished if they are found helping their enemies. Will also be considered an enemy. This incident points towards the international network of gangsters of India and the increasing gang war on Canadian soil. In the past too, the names of gangsters like Lawrence Bishnoi have come up in violent incidents in Canada. This latest attack has once again raised the question as to why Canada is becoming a safe haven for criminals.
