Ranchi, March 30 (Hindustan Reporter) Vasantik Navratri is starting from 9th April. The festival of Chaiti Chhath will be celebrated on 14th April amidst Navratri. This festival will start with Nahay-Khay on 12th April. Ram Navami will be celebrated with great pomp on 17th April.
The first day is Chaitra Shukla Paksha Pratipada on 9th April. On this day Lord Brahma created the universe. Therefore these days are considered as a great festival by Sanatan Dharma people. The attack that falls on this day itself is considered the king of this year. This year, due to Pratipada falling on Tuesday, the king will be auspicious. The rituals of Chaitra Navratri will also begin with the installation of the Kalash on April 9. During Chaitra Navratri, along with Bhagwati, Gauri will also be worshiped in sequence every day. During this Navratri, the festival of Chaiti Chhath will be celebrated on 14th April. Chhath festival will start on 12th April with Nahay-Khay.
Maha Ashtami fast will be on 16th April. Navami puja done in every home will also be done on 16th April only. It is also considered as Basiyaura with Bhavani origin. Mahanavami fast will be on Wednesday 17th April. The festival of Ram Navami will be celebrated on 17th April.
Pandit Ramdev Pandey told that with the end of Navratri fast, the puja-havan related to the end will be done till 5:22 pm on Wednesday, 17th April till Navami Tithi. The full Navratri ritual is on 18th April in the Paran Dashami tithi of the fast.
