Ranchi, March 30 (Hindustan Reporter) Changes have been made in the traffic system of Ranchi due to the Easter festival of the Christian community on Sunday. Thousands of Christians gather with their families early in the morning in the cemetery in Ranchi for the festival. Traffic SP Sumit Aggarwal has issued an order in this regard on Friday night.
According to the order issued, operation of big vehicles including buses, city ride buses, goods vehicles going from Kantatoli Chowk towards Bahubazar will be completely prohibited from 4 am to 9 am on March 31. Similarly, operation of big vehicles including buses, city ride buses, goods vehicles going from Kantatoli Chowk towards Sarjana Chowk via Dangratoli will be prohibited from 9 pm on March 30 to 9 am on March 31.
Also, the operation of buses, city ride buses, goods vehicles and big vehicles going from Sarjana Chowk via Mission Chowk towards Dangratoli, Kantatoli Chowk will remain closed from 9 pm on March 30 to 9 am on March 31. Apart from this, operation of big vehicles including buses, city ride buses, goods vehicles coming from Khelgaon Chowk towards Kantatoli Chowk will be prohibited from 3 am till 9 am on March 31.
Similarly, movement of goods vehicles coming from Durga Soren Chowk towards Kantatoli Chowk will remain closed from 3 am to 9 am. Operation of buses, city ride buses, goods vehicles and big vehicles going from Munda Chowk towards Kantatoli Chowk will be prohibited from 3 am to 9 am on March 31. Apart from this, the pre-determined no-entry time will remain the same.
