With this, the pirates aboard the Iranian fishing vessel 'AI Kanbar 786' surrendered. The Navy received information that on the evening of March 28, pirates attacked the Iranian fishing vessel 'AI Kambar 786'. As soon as such information was received, two ships deployed for maritime security operations in the Arabian Sea took surprising action to save the Iranian ship. At the time of the incident, the ship was about 90 nm southwest of Socotra and was carrying nine armed pirates, the navy said in a statement.
