- 1 cup moong (soaked)
- 1/2 onion finely chopped
- 1/4 cup grated carrots
- 1/4 cup crushed chilli
- 2 green chillies finely chopped
- 1 inch grated ginger
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 4 bread slices
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric as per taste
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander
- salt to taste

First of all mix moong, green chilli and ginger. Make a paste of it. – Now add asafoetida, onion, capsicum, carrot, red chilli, turmeric, coriander powder and salt to this batter and mix well. – Now heat a pan on gas. – Take a bread slice and apply batter on one side. – After this, apply some ghee on top and fry on low flame till it becomes crisp. When the toast is cooked well on both sides, cut it in half and serve with sauce or chutney.
