Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Congress Party has released another list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, in which the names of candidates have been announced for 5 seats. The new list of Congress includes Bhilwara, Rajsamand of Rajasthan and Bellary, Chamranagar, Chikkaballapur Lok Sabha seats of Karnataka.
Congress Party has announced the 9th list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. Earlier, names of 14 candidates were announced in the 8th list of party candidates. The latest list of candidates includes Bhilwara, Rajsamand of Rajasthan and Bellary, Chamranagar, Chikkaballapur Lok Sabha seats of Karnataka.
The 9th list of Congress candidates includes E Tukaram from Bellary seat in Karnataka, Sunil Bose from Chamarajanagar, Raksha Ramaiah from Chikbellapur and Dr. from Rajsamand seat in Rajasthan. Damodar Gurjar and Dr. from Bhilwara. CP Joshi has been given a chance.
Let us tell you that the tickets for the two seats of Rajasthan for which names have been included in this 9th list, were already finalized. Under the new list, in a change to the earlier announcement, Congress has given ticket from Rajsamand Lok Sabha seat to Dr. in place of Sudarshan Rao. Damodar Gurjar and Dr. from Bhilwara. Dr. in place of Damodar Gurjar. It has been announced to give ticket to CP Joshi.
Congress has given chance to 5 candidates in the ninth list. Whereas earlier the party had given tickets to 14 candidates in the eighth list, 5 in the seventh list, 5 in the sixth list, 3 in the fifth list and 46 candidates in the fourth list. Congress announced the names of 57 candidates in the third list, 43 in the second list and 39 in the first list.
In which the party has changed two candidates in the ninth list. In such a situation, Congress has so far fielded its candidates on a total of 215 seats. The names of Congress candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 were discussed in the meeting of the 'Central Election Committee' chaired by Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge. Since then the party is continuously finalizing the names of the candidates.
