According to the latest update of IMD, light rain in the capital Delhi will provide relief from the heat, while heat wave will prevail at some places in Karnataka. At the same time, light to moderate rain and snowfall is expected in the western Himalayan region.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate thunderstorms over northwest India and heavy rain at isolated places in the western Himalayan regions during March 29 to 30. There is a possibility of heavy rain, storm and storm in the Northeast from March 30 to April 1.
There is a possibility of isolated hailstorm in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Uttarakhand on 29 and 30 March 2024. Earlier, IMD had predicted hailstorm at various places in Himachal Pradesh on March 29, 2024. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh also.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heat wave at different places in Rayalaseema on 1 and 2 April 2024. Heat wave is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana on April 1 and 2, Vidarbha and Interior Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh on March 29 and 30.
There is a rapid change in the weather of the national capital this week. On March 29, the Meteorological Department recorded the minimum temperature of 21 degrees and the maximum temperature of more than 36 degrees. Meanwhile, many areas became cloudy by late evening, so as per the latest forecast of IMD, there is a possibility of light rain in New Delhi on March 30 also.
According to private weather agency Skymet, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in the Western Himalayas today. Along with this, light rain may occur at some places in Punjab, Haryana, Kerala, Sikkim and Northeast India. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain in western Uttar Pradesh and southern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
