A shocking incident has come to light in Kanhangarh district of Kerala. A 14 -year -old girl studying in class X gave birth to a child at home on Wednesday afternoon. The girl suffering from severe bleeding was taken to a local private hospital with her family. Both mother and child are currently healthy. However, her mother said that she did not know that the girl was pregnant.
According to police, a 14 -year -old girl, a resident of Kasargod, studied in class X in local school. On Wednesday afternoon, the girl gave birth to a child at home. During this time the girl got a lot of bleeding. Family members saw him and immediately took him to a local private hospital. There doctors checked and treated him. Officials said the girl was eight months pregnant at the time of delivery.
Surprisingly, family members were not aware that the girl was pregnant for years. Hosdurga police, who registered a case on the complaint of the girl’s mother, said that the girl is not in a position to make a statement at present. It is not yet clear whether there was any sexual harassment in the incident or not. Police said that they would make all the information public after investigation.
