After Holi, now people are waiting for Shitalashtami. A day before this festival, many types of dishes are prepared in homes. Today we are going to tell you the method of making Badam Puri, a popular sweet of Karnataka. You can do this on the festival of Shitalashtami.

necessary ingredients:

  • twenty kernel almonds
  • ten cups flour
  • Two tablespoons saffron soaked in milk
  • Oil,
  • Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons orange food color
  • eight spoons of ghee
  • six cups of water
  • Almonds (for decoration)

You can prepare it like this:

– First of all, grind soaked almonds and make a paste.

– Now add flour, salt, saffron, orange food colour, almond paste and water in a vessel and knead the mixture.

– Now apply ghee in this flour and roll the roti.

– Now fold this roti and roll it.

Cut it into small pieces with a knife and roll it again.

– Now make sugar syrup in a pan.

– Heat oil in a pan and fry puris in it.

– Now soak the puris in syrup for some time, take them out in a plate and garnish with almonds.

In this way your Badam Puri is made.
