The monsoon is now fully active and is affecting most parts of the country. According to the IMD alert, red and orange alerts have been issued in view of very heavy rains in some areas of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. This indicates that there is a need to be very careful in these areas. In Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh too, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains for the next few days. Landslides and sudden flood threats may increase in the hilly areas, so passengers and local residents have been advised to be vigilant. Talking about the eastern and northeastern parts of the country, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Bihar also forecast heavy rains with thunderstorms. In addition, some districts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh may also receive heavy rains, which can cause waterlogging and traffic obstruction. The influence of monsoon will be clearly visible and heavy rains can be recorded in some areas of Gujarat as well as Konkan and Goa and Maharashtra along with some areas of Gujarat.
