KKR announces replacement of one player during IPL, includes mystery spinner in the team

9 matches of IPL 2024 have been played, meanwhile on Friday 29 March, KKR announced the replacement of the player. Afghanistan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman has now been dropped from the KKR team. In his place, KKR has included a 16-year-old mystery spinner from Afghanistan in the team.

In place of Mujeeb Ur Rahman, 16 year old spinner Mohammad Ghazanfar of Afghanistan has been included in the Kolkata team. Ghazanfar recently made his debut against Ireland. He has played two One Day Internationals. Ghazanfar was paid Rs. by KKR. Rs 20 lakh has been included in the base price. In IPL 2024, KKR won its first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. This match witnessed Andre Russell's stormy innings.
