According to the police, it was Santosh Potam who had informed the Small Action Team about the deadly attack on Durgam. Only after the information of Naxalite Potam, the small action team of Naxalite attacked Deepak Durgam and fled from the spot. Bijapur Police says that soon the urban network of Naxalites will be destroyed and their helpers will be caught.
