Imphal, March 29 (Hindustan Reporter) Five people were arrested with drugs, arms and ammunition in Manipur. Manipur Police today said security forces arrested five persons from 'Y'-junction under Chakpikrong police station in Chandel district.
Those arrested were identified as Thangkholal Haokip (44), Mangalenthang Tauthang (30), Letkhogin Tauthang (50), Lamminlun Haokip (22) and Chungkhohou Khongsai (38).
Apart from this, 220 soap boxes filled with suspected heroin, one 9 mm pistol with magazine, 31 live ammunitions, two single barrel 12-bore guns, one walkie talkie, four Daav/Khukri, two mobile phones, two 2-wheelers The vehicle and three identity cards were recovered.
