India's UPI becomes global payment system:
UPI, or Unified Payments Interface, is a payment system that allows users to make faster transactions through various payment apps. This system, which started in India, has now reached seven other countries apart from India.
The Government of India has shared a map via MyGovIndia highlighting the countries where UPI can now be used. Digital payment systems were recently launched in Sri Lanka and Mauritius, expanding its presence beyond India. The government provided a list of countries where people can use UPI, showing the global impact of India's digital payments system.

Additionally, the UPI payment system has been launched in the United Arab Emirates, marking its entry into the Middle East. Indian Prime Minister inaugurated the UPI system during his visit to UAE. Along with this, Prime Minister Modi also launched India's RuPay card in UAE. As a result, UPI with RuPay is now live in seven countries, including the UAE.
This expansion reflects the global recognition and acceptance of India's digital payments systems, emphasizing their role in shaping the future of financial transactions.
