After Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu said goodbye to Congress and joined BJP, a mobile survey has started to know the favorite candidate of the voters of the district. Under this campaign, the phones of the voters of the district are ringing, through which the pulse is being gauged as to which leader the Congress will make the candidate in the district. However, out of the four Congress leaders whose opinion has been sought in this mobile survey option, three are relatives and close friends of MP Bittu who has left the Congress. One of them is his uncle's son, a former minister. After MP Ravneet Singh Bittu left the party, four names are still emerging as to who should be the Congress candidate. Voters in the district have started receiving computerized phones from Thursday.

Through this call, Congress is asking the voters who they want as the candidate from Ludhiana, in which the name of Sri Anandpur Sahib MP Munish Tiwari is included in the first place. It is also noteworthy here that Munish Tiwari has twice contested the MP election from Ludhiana on Congress ticket and after winning the election once, he has also been a Union Minister in the Congress ministry. In the year 2019, Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu was given the ticket in his place, while Munish Tiwari won the election from Sri Anandpur Sahib. Similarly, in the second option, former Ludhiana MLA Sanjay Talwar, in the third option, former minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu, who was close to MP Ravneet Singh Bittu, and in the fourth option, Tai's son and former minister Gurkirat Singh Kotli. The name of a family member of MP Ravneet Singh Bittu is included. Consent is being sought on the name of any one of the four leaders through phone. Although it has not been revealed whether this phone survey is being conducted by the Congress Party or someone else, there is complete talk of conducting a candidate search survey to gauge the pulse of the voters.
