Banda, 29 March (Hindustan Reporter). The process of post mortem of notorious mafia Mukhtar Ansari, who died during treatment at Banda Medical College, Uttar Pradesh, started this morning. Security has been tightened at the post-mortem house (Chilghar in local language). Banda's Additional Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Niwas Mishra reached the post-mortem house some time ago.
According to the medical bulletin, Mukhtar Ansari was taken to the medical college when his health deteriorated in Banda jail last evening. He died during treatment at 8:25 pm. The cause of death is said to be heart attack. After post-mortem his body will be handed over to the family.
According to a family member who reached Banda after getting information about the death of Bahubali leader Mukhtar, there is a family graveyard in Kali Bagh of Ghazipur district. Mukhtar will be laid to rest there. The administration says that a three-member team will conduct a magisterial inquiry into the death of Mukhtar Ansari. A panel of two doctors will conduct the post-mortem. It will be videographed. After the completion of the process, the body will be handed over to his son Omar Ansari.
One of Mukhtar's sons, Abbas Ansari, is lodged in Kasganj jail. The second son Umar Ansari reached Banda with his wife at around 2 o'clock in the night after receiving information about the death.
