Fenugreek is considered very good for health and its leaves and seeds have been used as Ayurvedic medicine for years. It contains many nutritious elements like protein, fiber, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, manganese, vitamin C, fatty acids etc. It helps in controlling many diseases like arthritis, diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure etc.
Apart from this, if we talk about taste as well as health, then fenugreek laddus can be a delicious option which is also beneficial for winters. To reduce the bitterness of fenugreek seeds, soak them in milk for some time. Then spread them in the sun, dry them and grind them and use them.
Material:
100 grams fenugreek
100 grams jaggery
2 bowls of ghee
1 bowl gram flour
Some dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios) finely chopped
a quarter bowl of gum
half teaspoon ashwagandha powder
A little Shilajit
a little sunshine
recipe:
– First of all mix gum in ghee. Fry. When it becomes hot, take it out and put it in the mixer and grind it.
Then heat ghee in a pan and fry finely chopped fenugreek seeds in it.
– After this, add gram flour and fry it well, after which the fragrant aroma will start coming.
Then, add Shilajit, Suranjan, and Ashwagandha and fry for some more time.
After this, add gum and dry fruits to it and fry it again for some time.
On the other hand, make syrup by adding some water to the jaggery.
Now add it to the fenugreek powder mixture and mix well.
– Turn off the gas and when the mixture cools down a bit, make laddus of desired size with your hands.
