Ukraine, Georgia and Poland qualified for the Euro 2024 football tournament in a penalty shootout after various penalty dramas in the play-offs. Euro Cup will start in Germany from June 14. Against Ukraine, Albert Gudmundsen scored in the 30th minute to give Iceland a 1-0 lead. Viktor Shankov scored in the 54th minute to level Ukraine's score at 1-1. With six minutes left in the match, Mykhailo Murdek scored in the 84th minute to give Ukraine a 2-1 victory. In another play-off match played in Tbilisi, Georgia and Greece played out a 0-0 draw at regular time. A penalty shootout was used to decide the winner, with Georgia winning 4–2. Georgia has made it to the main draw of a major tournament for the first time in 15 years. In the Cardiff match, Poland won 5–4 in a penalty shootout after a 0–0 draw against Wales. With this, 24 teams have been confirmed for the Euro Cup. Germany, Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland in Group-A, Spain, Croatia, Italy and Albania in Group-B, Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia and England in Group-C, Poland, Netherlands, Austria and France, Belgium in Group-D. Group E comprises Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine and Group F comprises Turkey, Georgia, Portugal and Czech Republic.
