Happiness or sadness depends on the state of mind. The restless mind controls our emotions. Only by calming the mind can we bring such a situation in our life where the impact of happiness and sorrow is minimal. This is possible only through yoga.
The search for truth is itself a great deception because what we call 'truth' is always and everywhere present. We don't have to look for him. The problem is that we are able to experience life only through a limited dimension. This limited dimension is called mind. Patanjali has called Yoga as 'Chitta Birati Nirodh'. This means that if we can stabilize the restlessness or activities of the mind then we can achieve yoga. Everything becomes one in our consciousness.
There are many tools and remedies in yoga to steady the mind. We do many such things in our life, go through such processes which we call our achievements, but going beyond the restlessness of the mind is the primary and biggest achievement. It frees man from all his searches, the distinctions between inside and outside. The goal of most people is to find happiness and peace in their life. The happiness and peace we know in our lives are mostly very soft and fleeting.
She is always subject to external circumstances. So most people spend their entire lives trying to maintain a perfect external state, but the task is very difficult. Yoga emphasizes the inner state. If we can create the right internal state, no matter what the external circumstances are, we can enjoy complete happiness and peace. Remember, people who control their mind are saved from many problems.
