The 21st century is the era of technology. Education is very important to move ahead in this era. Because of this importance, every parent wants to educate their children in the best school. That's why they work hard day and night so that the future of their children can be bright. They also limit their needs and expenses so that they can give good education to their children but in private schools parents are looted in the name of good education.
Every year these schools are looted at the beginning of every session in the name of admission fees, annual expenses, tuition fees, building fees etc. Many schools even provide uniforms from the school itself, from which they earn huge profits and loot the parents. Parents buy uniforms at expensive prices even if they do not want to. Some schools have designated some selected shops for uniforms from where uniforms are available and parents are forced to buy and sell uniforms from those shops only. Nowadays schools have made a new rule under which they charge fees only for three months, the burden of which also falls on the parents.
If parents delay in paying school fees, heavy fines are also imposed. Parents spend lakhs of rupees for the good future of their children but still they worry about whether their children will be able to get a good job in future. Sometimes children remain unemployed after studies or are forced to work at low wages. Every year schools also change the books taught to children, due to which parents are not able to buy old books even at half the price and buy expensive books even if they do not want to.
To stop exploitation of innocent parents by schools, governments should come forward and make effective policies and implement them honestly. They should set a limit beyond which no school can increase fees. Annual charges, re-admission fees, building charges should be stopped so that blind looting of parents can be stopped.
