Jaipur, March 27 (HS). Rajasthan High Court has sought answers from Personnel Secretary, Principal Animal Husbandry Secretary and RPSC Secretary and others in the matter of selection of ineligible candidates in Veterinary Officer Recruitment-2019. Justice Sameer Jain gave this order while conducting preliminary hearing on Rajveer Singh's petition. The court has asked the RPSC to give detailed information about the candidates concerned to the petitioner, so that notice can be served on them.
In the petition, advocate Tanveer Ahmed told the court that RPSC had conducted recruitment for nine hundred posts of Veterinary Officer in the year 2019. In the recruitment advertisement, RPSC considered the candidates appearing in the final year of Veterinary Science course as eligible. Whereas according to the recruitment rules the eligibility is to appear in the final year examination. Due to the mistake of RPSC, even those candidates who did not have the prescribed eligibility were included in the recruitment. Along with this, such candidates were selected and interviewed. While challenging in the High Court the ineligible candidates being considered eligible in RPSC recruitment, he said that the eligibility in the recruitment rules is to appear in the final year examination of educational qualification and not to appear in the final year. Whereas in other subsequent recruitments, RPSC has considered eligibility to appear in the final year examination. In such a situation, RPSC has disregarded the recruitment rules and selected ineligible people in the recruitment. A large number of eligible candidates are being affected by this. While hearing on which, the single bench has sought reply from the concerned officials.
