Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Big reports are coming out regarding the alliance in Maharashtra. Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar's NCP and Congress-led Mahavikas Aghadi's Prakash Ambedkar have finally broken ties with the Bharat Alliance. There is talk that he has finally broken ties with India because due to seat distribution, his party was allotted only 1 Lok Sabha seat and along with this his party has also announced the names of candidates on nine seats.

Prakash Ambedkar put conditions against India alliance

In the very first meeting after joining the India Alliance, Prakash Ambedkar put forward many conditions. He presented the seat sharing formula and said that out of the total 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra, the four constituent parties of the Bharat Alliance should contest equally on 12-12-12-12 seats. After this, he placed another condition that the alliance should field OBC candidates on five seats and minority community candidates on two seats in Maharashtra. He also stipulated that all Indian Alliance candidates would have to write an affidavit that they would not join the BJP after winning the elections. However, despite not having a single MLA or MP, Prakash Ambedkar's Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi Party made it difficult for the Bharat Alliance to retain him.
