Mumbai – Six women have lost their lives in a tiger attack in the last six days in the forest area of ​​Chandrapur of Vidarbha. These women, who went to break the tendu leaves in the dense forest, became a victim of tiger.

Yesterday, a woman named Kachrabai Arun Bharde (Age 54) was breaking the tendu leaf in the buffer zone of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve of Chandrapur district, when a tiger swooped with the bush and scratched her body on seeing it.

The incident angered the deceased woman’s son and other villagers and demanded that they would not accept the bodies until the tiger was guaranteed to fencing around the sanctuary. After this, the officials and police of the Morcha pacified the villagers and assured the tiger protection. The family of the deceased was given compensation of Rs 5 lakh. 50,000. The remaining amount will be paid after the preparation of the case papers.
