Former son-in-law, lodged in Ludhiana jail, attacked the house in Ekta Nagar, was threatening by sending a video.

Amritsar : Last night, a house was attacked with bricks and stones in Ekta Nagar area under Mohkampura police station. The family alleges that this attack was carried out by their former son-in-law who is in jail. Not only this, he is threatening them by sending videos and audios from jail itself. The victim's family has given a complaint to the police by giving videos etc. and demanded that a case be registered against the accused and strict action be taken. At present the police is investigating the matter.

Sunny Kumar, resident of Ekta Nagar, told that he had fixed his daughter's relationship with a young man named Budha. Many cases are registered against him. When his daughter's relationship was finalized, the accused said that he had reformed, but later he came to know that he was still in jail due to his mistakes. After which he flatly refused to marry his daughter. He told that two years ago he was caught in the case of robbery at a jewelers shop in Batala. Where he also opened fire. After which he was sent to jail. The accused has been in jail for two years and sometimes makes videos from jail and sometimes makes recordings and sends threats from different numbers. He said that the accused is currently lodged in Budha Ludhiana jail and he has sent several videos to his daughter, in which the jail is clearly visible. Many policemen are also seen in the jail. He has made and sent a reel of film songs. ASI Mahal Singh, who is investigating the incident, says that a complaint has been received and investigation is being done. He has also taken video and audio from the family. Further action will be taken after investigating the matter.
