The party did not give ticket to this MP who drinks heavily in the Lok Sabha elections

MDMK MP for Lok Sabha elections 2024 Ganeshmurthy was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition on Sunday (March 24). Ganeshmurthy, who became MP from Erode Lok Sabha seat of Tamil Nadu in 2019, was admitted to the hospital by his family after his health deteriorated.

According to PTI report, police said that MP Ganeshmurthy was brought to the hospital by his family members at 9.30 am on Sunday. After checkup, the doctors shifted him to ICU. He has been kept on ventilator.

Family claims- MP drank poison

According to a Times of India report, his family members said that the MP had consumed pesticide poison. Reports have claimed that MP Ganeshmurthy attempted suicide after not getting a ticket for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. MDMK MP Ganeshmurthy was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition on Sunday (March 24).

However, when the doctors were asked about this, they refused to give any statement in this regard. The MP was later admitted to a private hospital in Coimbatore.

MP Ganeshmurthy's condition is critical

During this time, two doctors and some of his family members were also present in the ambulance to take care of the MP. According to the latest information, MP Ganeshmurthy's health is currently improving. However, his condition still remains critical. He has been kept on ventilator.

After getting information about MP Ganeshmurthy's ill health, many leaders reached a private hospital in Coimbatore to meet him. It includes DMK leader S Muthusamy, state Urban Development and Housing and Excise and Prohibition Minister Dr. Modakurichi BJP MLA C. Saraswati, AIADMK leader K.V. Ramalingam and some others reached the hospital. He inquired about the health of Ganeshmurti.

Lok Sabha elections will be held in 7 phases, results will start from April 19 and on June 4.

Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases. The first phase will begin on April 19 and the election results will be declared on June 4 after all seven phases of voting are over.
