New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is currently in ED custody. However, he is performing his duty as Chief Minister. Kejriwal has also taken the first decision in ED custody. From his custody, he has issued orders to Water Minister Atishi regarding the water problem in Delhi. In which he has given some orders regarding the water problem and sewage system in Delhi.
Addressing the press conference, Atishi said that Kejriwal gave me this order late on Saturday night, as soon as I received the message of the order, tears came to my eyes because despite Kejriwal himself being in so much trouble, he is worried about the people of Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal, 55, was arrested by the ED from his residence on Thursday, causing a political stir. Kejriwal will remain in ED custody till March 28. Despite being in custody, he has continued his work as Chief Minister.
Since summer has started, he asked Atishi to deliver water tanks to those areas where there is shortage of water.
Atishi said that Kejriwal considers the people of Delhi as his family, Kejriwal has written in his first order letter that I have come to know that there are some problems of water and sewerage in some areas of Delhi. About which I am worried, because I am currently in jail, so that the people of Delhi do not face any problem. As the summer season is about to begin, adequate tankers should be arranged where there is water shortage.
The problems of the public should be resolved immediately, if necessary the help of the Lieutenant Governor should be taken and the responsible officers should be ordered to make arrangements.
ED has accused Kejriwal of being the main conspirator in Delhi's liquor policy scam. Huge sums were received in exchange for liquor licenses which were used in election funds. Veteran leaders like former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia, MP Sanjay Singh, Satyendra Jain etc. are already in jail. Meanwhile, Kejriwal is also in jail but he is running the government. Meanwhile, Kejriwal issued the first order from ED detention, this order was considered scripted by BJP. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said that Delhiites are happy with Kejriwal's arrest, the orders that Kejriwal is giving while in jail are scripted.
