Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was arrested on March 21 in the Delhi Liquor Policy case, is running the government from jail. He issued his first order from jail on Sunday (March 24). He instructed Water Minister Atishi that Delhiites should not face any kind of problem in summer. He wrote in the note that where there is shortage of water, tankers should be arranged. According to this, Water Minister Atishi has to hold a press conference today at 10 am.

Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court has extended Kejriwal's ED remand till March 28. Kejriwal told the court that he will not resign from the post of Chief Minister and if this happens, he will run the government from jail itself. He said that whether inside or outside, the government will move ahead from there. Kejriwal said, 'I am sure we will face difficulties but we will try to work with it. This is what the people of Delhi want.

On Saturday evening, Kejriwal's lawyer challenged the ED's arrest and the trial court's remand decision in the Delhi High Court. Lawyers said both decisions were illegal. Kejriwal deserves to be released. We have demanded a hearing from the court till March 24. However, Delhi High Court refused to immediately hear the case of Kejriwal's arrest and remand. The court said that it is Holi holiday. The case will be heard only when the court opens on Wednesday (27 March).
