Faridabad: Dangal girl Suhani Bhatnagar wanted to become a journalist

Faridabad, 17 February (HS). Suhani Bhatnagar, famous as Dangal Girl from Aamir Khan's film Dangal, living in Faridabad, died during treatment in AIIMS, Delhi. Suhani said goodbye to this world at the age of just 19. Today Suhani Bhatnagar has been cremated in the crematorium located near Ajraunda on National Highway No. 19, Faridabad.

Suhani was fond of modeling, but when it came to her career, she chose mass communication. 1000 girls were called in Delhi to act in the film Dangal, but only two girls were selected. Suhani Bhatnagar was also one of these two girls. Suhani lived with her parents in Sector 17, Faridabad, who also has a younger brother. Suhani's father Puneet Bhatnagar is an engineer by profession, while mother Pooja Bhatnagar was also an engineer by profession, but she left the job and is now a housewife. Suhani has a younger brother named Pratosh, who is currently 14 years old.

While talking to the media, Suhani's parents told that their daughter had done the film Dangal at the age of just 6 years. After which people started calling his daughter as Dangal Girl. Suhani's mother Pooja Bhatnagar told that her daughter was fond of modeling from the beginning. Due to this, his daughter was called for an interview in Delhi. Where out of 1000 children, along with his daughter, another girl was selected. After which his daughter played the role of Babita Phogat in the film Dangal.

Suhani's father Puneet Bhatnagar told that his daughter was suffering from a disease called Dematomyocystis. Two months ago, a red spot had formed on his daughter's hand. They thought their daughter was allergic. After which he showed his daughter to many big hospitals of Faridabad, but the doctors of any hospital of Faridabad could not diagnose his daughter's disease. When his daughter's condition started deteriorating, he admitted his daughter to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi for treatment last Tuesday. Suhani's condition did not improve even in AIIMS. The body started filling with water. Due to this, his lungs got damaged and his daughter said goodbye to this world.
