Gwalior, 23 March (HS). Make Inter State Bus Stand (ISBT) barrier free i.e. senior citizen and disabled friendly. Efforts should be such that wheelchairs and tricycles of disabled people can reach every part of ISBT. These instructions were given by Collector and District Election Officer Ruchika Chauhan. She had come on Saturday along with Municipal Corporation Commissioner Harsh Singh to inspect the under-construction ISBT.

Collector Ruchika Chauhan and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Harsh Singh also informed about the new garbage transfer station located in Jalalpur, sewer treatment plant, water treatment plant and CMD waste plant, residences of Manpur residential complex, multilevel parking under construction at Maharaj Bada and other ongoing construction works in the city. How is the waste collected from the city at the new waste transfer plant separated at the waste transfer station? The collector understood its entire process closely. He inspected the CMD Waste Plant located in Jalalpur area and learned how the CMD waste collected from the city is being used here.
The Collector instructed the officials of L&T Company to speed up the work of multi-level parking under construction at Maharaj Bada. He said that this parking will ease the traffic in the markets of Maharaj Bada area. The Collector saw the flats of Manpur Housing Scheme and understood the process of allotment. Also explained to the people the importance of voting. Additional Commissioners Vijay Raj and RK Srivastava and City Planner Pawan Singhal and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
