Central Peace Committee meeting held regarding Holi, celebrate the festival with communal harmony

Ranchi, 23 March (Hindu). A meeting of the Central Peace Committee was organized by the district administration on Saturday regarding Holi. During the meeting, the members of the peace committee talked about celebrating the festival with communal harmony. The committee members put forward many points including keeping liquor shops closed, taking action against people with criminal tendencies, curbing rash driving.

On the occasion, SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha said that the cultural heritage of Ranchi is very good. He said that festivals are always celebrated in Ranchi in a good atmosphere with brotherhood. This time too the festival will be completed with everyone's cooperation. SSP said that any kind of criminal activity should be informed to the police in time, strict action will be taken against the criminals.

In the meeting, SP Sumit Kumar Aggarwal said that the points to which attention has been drawn by the members of the peace committee. Necessary action will be taken on that. He said that the number of check points will be increased to curb rash driving. There will be arrangements for patrolling along with deputation of police force in sensitive areas. SP said that DJ should be used as per the prescribed standards, do not play controversial songs, if the order is violated the DJ will be confiscated. He said that the police will also keep a close watch on social media.

In the meeting, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sadar Utkarsh Kumar said that peace committee members are always present when needed. Salute to your spirit. He said that the model code of conduct is in force regarding elections. Keep in mind that the model code of conduct is not violated during the program organized on Holi.

Additional District Magistrate asked all the members of the Peace Committee to remain alert during the festival. He said that any case should be immediately stopped from escalating. This is not the first time that we have celebrated many festivals together, this time too let us celebrate the festival together.
