Ranchi, March 23 (HS). Bajruddin alias Chhotu Rangsaj was shot dead in broad daylight near the Urdu Library located on the main road of Daily Market police station area of the capital Ranchi. The incident happened on Saturday afternoon. The deceased was the most wanted criminal of Palamu and Garhwa district. A total of 30 cases were registered against him in different police stations of Palamu and Garhwa districts. He was the main accused in the bomb attack case on Guddu Khan in Palamu.
The two criminals who carried out the incident have been identified by the wife of the deceased. The criminals have been identified as Mintu and Sabir. Police are raiding the possible hideout to arrest both the criminals. Chhotu was shot dead due to personal rivalry.
City SP Rajkumar Mehta said that on the statement of the deceased's wife, a case of murder has been registered against two named accused Mintu and Sabir. The deceased was the most wanted criminal of Garhwa and 30 cases were registered against him. In this, seven cases of murder, 17 under Arms Act and other cases are registered. The two who fired were his associates. The murder was committed due to personal rivalry. Raids are being conducted to arrest both of them. Both will be arrested soon.
