Bijapur, 23 March (HS). As part of the Naxal eradication campaign being run in the district, the joint force of Cobra 210 and Basaguda police station had set out on a search towards Gaganpalli. During the operation, two Naxalites Madvi Kosa father Budhra and Podiyam Hadma father Podiyam Hunga, both residents of Murkipad Para Gaganpally police station Basaguda, were arrested from the forest of Gaganpalli Murkipad Para.
Tiffin bombs and anti-government pamphlets and leaflets by the banned Naxalite organization have been recovered from the possession of the arrested Naxalites. After taking action against the two arrested Naxalites under relevant sections of the Explosive Substances Act and Chhattisgarh Special Public Safety Act 2005 at Basaguda police station, they were produced before the Bijapur court on judicial remand on Saturday.
