Chaupal established at the booth with lowest voting percentage, oath administered to half the population

Dehradun, 23 March (HS). Nodal Officer Sweep and Chief Development Officer Jharna Kamthan on Saturday organized Mahila Chaupal in Pre-Secondary School Deepnagar, the booth with the lowest voting percentage in Dharampur Assembly. Also, voters were motivated to exercise their franchise to increase the voting percentage.

The nodal officer appealed to all the women voters to vote 100 percent. Voters were inspired through street plays by BLOs and Anganwadi workers. Also administered the oath of voting to the voters. He said that along with Holi, the great festival of democracy should also be celebrated with enthusiasm. Young voters who voted for the first time were motivated to vote by distributing appeal postcards of District Election Officer Sonika.

During this, District Program Officer and Assistant Nodal Sweep Jitendra Kumar, Child Development Project Officer Dr. Shikha Kandwal, Supervisors Indira Kathait and Shilpa etc. were present.
