Gwalior, 17 February (HS). Krishna Sharma, a resident of Gwalior city and training at Madhya Pradesh Women's Hockey Academy, will receive the “Pankh” Sports Achievement Award 2024. The award ceremony will be held on February 20 at 11.15 am at the Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium located in front of the Governor Bhawan in Jahangirabad, Bhopal. He told that Krishna, daughter of Naka Chandrabadni resident Maya Sharma and Sunil Sharma, has recently returned after representing India in the sub-junior girls hockey competition held in Netherlands. Apart from India Sub Junior, MP Junior and Sub Junior, this promising daughter of the city has also performed excellently in Khelo India. Krishna told that she plays on the position of right arm striker. Currently, she is learning the nuances of hockey from coaches Vandana Uike and Paramjit Singh at the Hockey Academy. Along with sports, he is also studying in class eleventh.
