Sri Kiratpur Sahib: On Friday, the second day of Hola Mohalla, the prestigious national festival of Khalsai Jaho Jalal, Shri Kiratpur Sahib echoed with the cheers of Bole So Nihal. A large number of devotees are arriving from different parts of the country and abroad. Since Friday morning, devotees paying obeisance at Gurudwara Patalpuri Sahib, Gurudwara Charankanwal Sahib, Gurudwara Baba Budhan Shah Ji, Gurudwara Guru Ke Bagh, Gurudwara Baba Gurditta Ji were chanting Vahguru.
Under the leadership of Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee and Chairman of Takht Shri Kesgarh Sahib Singh Sahib Giani Sultan Singh Ji, Manager Gurpreet Singh Rode has made elaborate arrangements for the arrival of the devotees.
Shri Akhand Path Sahib Ji has been started at Gurudwara Patalpuri Sahib Ji on 21st March, the end of which will be celebrated on Saturday, 23rd March. The first phase of Hola Mahalla has been started by the Khalsa Panth at Sri Kiratpur Sahib. Singh Sahib Giani Sultan Singh also requested the entire Khalsa Panth to participate in these events and make their life successful, get the happiness of Guru Ghar, drink the nectar Chhako Singh Sajo.
Second phase will start from Sri Anandpur Sahib
The first phase of Hola-Mahalla Jodh Mela, symbolizing the rise of Khalsa Panth, will conclude at Sri Kiratpur Sahib on the third day and the second phase will start at Sri Anandpur Sahib. Jathedar Singh Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh Ji Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Srimoni Gurdwara Management Committee Chairman Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami and many other religious personalities will be present.
Advanced arrangements made by the district administration
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav and SSP Gulneet Singh Khurana said that arrangements have been made for the safety and health facilities of the pilgrims on the occasion of the national festival Hola Mahalla and many decorative gates have been made. An appeal was made to the Sangat who reached that Hole Mahalla that no youth should do anything that could cause trouble to the Sangat and peace and harmony should be maintained.
