On the occasion of International Women's Day 2024, Surbhi Art Society is organizing online competitions of painting, sculpture, poster, photography and installation on the theme 'Women Power' which showcases the ability of women to spread awareness in the society and guide the society. Art Society President Dr. Rajesh Jangra said on Friday that all the artworks were sent for judgment by renowned artists in the field of art. Among them, Manju Bhatia Jaipur, Arpita Das West Bengal, Santosh Purohit Jaipur, Meena Jain Rajasthan, Dr. Anisha Varjesh Kerala, Bhavana Saxena Jaipur, Gayatri Verma Hisar Haryana, Savitri Sharma Jaipur received excellent awards in painting. In poster making, the art of Niharika Thakur Hisar, Chetan Narwana Jind, Ganesh Chopra Hisar, Kirti Panipat, Gayatri Verma Hisar was excellent and they won the award. Similarly, in craftsmanship, Payal Hisar, Mehak Gupta Agra Uttar Pradesh, Jyoti Verma Hisar received the award for best artwork. Srishti Dhiman Haryana in installation and Sneha Hisar in photography performed commendably.
Dr. Kavita Mor, Secretary of Surabhi Art Society, said that certificates and mementos have been sent to all these artists. Dr. Manoj Chhabra Hisar, Dr. Kumkum Srivastava, Professor, Department of Fine Arts, Government Women's College, Indore and Dr. Monica Gupta, Professor, Department of Fine Arts, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra played the role of judges in the competition.
