Jaipur, March 22 (HS). The Northern Command investiture ceremony was conducted with traditional pomp and military grandeur under the auspices of the Red Eagle Division.
In the investiture ceremony, out of 45 Army Medals for Gallantry, 6 Army Medals were awarded to officers and other ranks of Rajasthan. Major Navdeep Goswami, Naik Mahesh Chand Jat, Constable Ashish Kumar, Constable Anil Kumar, Constable Dhan Singh Gurjar and Grenadier Salim Khan of Rajasthan were the recipients of the Army Medal for Gallantry. Lieutenant General MV Suchindra Kumar, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command presented the awards.
