5. A fine of Rs 10,000 for not having a pollution certificate
If a vehicle does not have a pollution certificate, the fine has been increased from Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000. In addition, the car owner may also have a jail of up to six months.
6. Overloading and overseas fine of Rs 5,000
The fine on overloading and overseas is now to Rs 5,000, which was earlier Rs 2,000. The fine will increase by Rs 20,000 for overloading a truck or commercial vehicle.
7. Fines and punishment under Juvenile Act
Violation of traffic rules by children under 18 years of age can be fined Rs 25,000 and a jail sentence of up to three years. In addition, the registration of that vehicle will also be canceled and the child will not get a driving license for 25 years.
8. A fine of Rs 5,000 for breaking traffic signal
