Sadhguru Health Update: Isha Foundation founder and spiritual guru Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has undergone brain surgery after brain hemorrhage. Sadhguru was suffering from headache for almost a month. Sadhguru's life was in danger due to brain hemorrhage.
Doctors at Apollo Hospital have given an update on Sadhguru's health after successful brain surgery. A senior doctor said, “Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev suffered a very dangerous (life-threatening) brain hemorrhage, following which he underwent brain surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi. However, he is recovering now.”
Apollo Hospital said Sadhguru was suffering from severe headaches for the last four weeks. Despite the intensity of the pain, he continued his normal daily schedule and social activities and even organized Maha Shivratri celebrations on March 8. After this he planned his treatment.
After brain surgery, Sadhguru also shared a video from the hospital bed on his Instagram account. In this video, Sadhguru says, “A neurosurgeon from Apollo Hospital cut my skull and tried to find something, but found nothing. My mind is completely blank. So he gave up and fixed it. I am here in Delhi and my brain is bandaged but there is nothing in my mind.
Let us tell you that on March 15, when Sadhguru's headache became severe, he met Dr., Senior Consultant Neurologist of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Delhi. Took advice from Vineet Suri. Dr. Vineet Suri immediately suspected sub-dural hematoma and ordered an immediate MRI.
At 4:30 pm the same day, an MRI of Sadhguru's brain was conducted at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital and revealed massive bleeding in the brain. After which Sadhguru was immediately advised to be admitted to the hospital but he had a meeting on March 15 at 6 pm and there was also an India Today Conclave on March 16.
On March 17, Sadhguru was feeling weak and started having headaches along with frequent vomiting. After which he was admitted to Apollo Hospital. Dr. Vineet Suri, Dr. Pranav Kumar, Dr. Sudhir Tyagi and Dr. The entire team of senior doctors including S Chatterjee was involved in Sadhguru's brain surgery. After the surgery, Sadhguru was removed from the ventilator. At present, Sadhguru is continuously recovering. Sadhguru's head and body are improving.
