Many types of dishes are prepared on Holi and if you also want to enjoy some spicy and tasty snacks then you can try Sattu ki Kachori. So let's know about its recipe.
Material:
About 200 grams of Sattu
1 finely chopped onion
1 small piece finely chopped ginger
3-4 green chillies finely chopped
2 teaspoons finely chopped coriander
1/2 teaspoon nigella seeds
salt as per taste
2 tbsp mustard oil
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 tsp dry mango powder
1 teaspoon fennel powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
For the dough:
about 1 cup flour
salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon celery
3 tbsp oil (for kneading)
Method:
-Take out the flour in a mixing bowl. Add salt, carom seeds and 3 tbsp oil. Knead soft dough. – Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep it aside for about 30 minutes.
-Heat oil in a pan. Add asafoetida and cumin.
– Then add green chilli, ginger and onion. Fry the onion until it turns golden brown.
– Add sattu, coriander powder, fennel powder and mix well. Cook the sattu until it turns light brown.
– Add garam masala, dry mango powder and salt. mix well. Finally, add chopped coriander leaves.
-Take a small portion of the dough and roll it into a small disc. Place a spoonful of sattu mixture in the center and seal the edges to form a filled ball. Flatten the ball slightly with your palms.
-Heat an air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the kachori in the air fryer basket and air fry at 360 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes.
-Turn the Kachoris and air fry them for 5 minutes until they become golden brown and crispy.
– Repeat the same process with the remaining flour and sattu mixture.
– Serve with hot green chutney or tamarind chutney.
