On Holi, everyone prepares different types of dishes in their homes. These include both sweet and salty dishes. If you are thinking of making namkeen at home this time, then you should try Poha namkeen. So let us know how you can make it.
To make salty poha, you will need about 250 grams of thick poha. Additionally, you will need 100 grams of makhana to incorporate. Apart from this, take 250 grams of Aloo Bhujiya or Gram Flour Bhujiya which is easily available in the market. Apart from this, also take 250 grams peanuts, 250 grams roasted gram, 10-12 cashews and 20 raisins. For spices, take salt, chilli powder, turmeric, dry mango powder and some chaat masala.
Poha Namkeen Recipe:
-To make salty poha, first lightly fry the makhana and peanuts, you can choose to fry them without oil or in a little oil.
-For better taste, make sure to fry the makhana in a heavy pan with ghee.
– Now after peanuts, fry cashew nuts lightly.
– Mix roasted peanuts with gram and then turn off the gas and leave all the roasted things in the pan for some time.
-You have to add 1 tablespoon chaat masala in the mixture of peanuts and gram so that the spices mix well.
– Heat oil in a pan and keep the flame on medium to high.
– Now take a frying ladle and dip it in hot oil, then with the help of the ladle put the poha in the hot oil.
-You have to take about 1 handful of poha at a time and fry it.
-As soon as the poha is fried, it will rise to the surface; Then spread it on a newspaper.
– This will remove excess oil from the poha easily.
– As soon as you place the poha on the newspaper, sprinkle a pinch of turmeric on it and mix it with your hands.
– Fry all the pohas in the same manner. – Now place the poha in a bowl and add peanuts, gram, makhana, cashew nuts, raisins and potato bhujia and mix.
– Add salt, chilli powder, dry mango powder and chaat masala as per taste.
Very tasty namkeen is ready. Store it in an airtight container and enjoy it for up to a month.
