The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates of counseling service to provide a stress -free environment to the children for the preparation of the upcoming examinations. Students appearing in CBSE board examinations can avail the tele -counseling service from February 1. Under this service, students and their parents will be counseled in two phases. The first phase of counseling service will continue till April 4, while the counseling examination of the second phase will be started after the announcement of the results.
CBSE podcast and audio-video content
CBSE will also issue podcast and audio-video content to help children prepare for better exams. Benefits of free service
CBSE has said that this counseling service will be absolutely free and students will be able to receive it from Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. More information can be obtained from the CBSE website.
66 trained professionals will counseling
CBSE counseling service will have a total of 66 trained professionals, including principal, consultant, special educators and psychologists of CBSE recognized schools. Of these, 51 counselors in India and 15 counselors will be connected to countries like Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman and UAE.
Toll-free service and 24/7 helpline
The board has also announced that students and parents will get the benefit of 24 hours, toll-free IVRS (interactive voice response system) service. Students can receive their problems solving and advice by calling 1800-11-8004. This service will be available in both Hindi and English languages.
