Mithun Chakraborty was a superstar of the 80s. But his sons Mimoh and Namashi have not got that post yet. While it is easy for star kids to get a break, superstar Mithun's sons have to struggle even for big launches despite being born in a filmy family.
Mithun's elder son Mimoh debuted in the film Jimmy in 2008. But this film proved to be a huge flop at the box office. After this Mimoh also stopped getting offers. Mimoh's younger brother Namashi recently talked about this issue in an interview. Namashi said, if Mimoh had been given a chance, he would have been as successful as Abhishek Bachchan.
Mimoh did not get a chance
Namashi said, Mimoh has a lot of potential but she was selected compared to other star kids in the industry. No one took his side. He was born in the family of a superstar. He has complete talent. But everyone favored other star kids but not Mimohan. My speech is being recorded. If my brother had got the same opportunities as Abhishek Bachchan sir got, then my brother would have become a superstar today. I can say this with full confidence.
Namashi further said that people saw his first film Jimmy as the biggest film. Nobody accepted it as a film from the biggest production house. He is an unforgettable actor. Bollywood never took him seriously.
Star Kid causes irritability
Namashi has already talked about Abhishek. The actor told how Abhishek advised Mimoh about her career. Abhishek was a hot actor in the industry at that time. He told his brother that no matter what anyone says, I will try my best to humiliate you. But you always have to get up and do your job.
Along with this, Namashi said that Mimoh also gets jealous seeing the star kid doing well. It happens with me too. Obviously we are also human beings. Feeling bad it's like we wish we were there. But after working hard for so many years, you realize that when luck plays its game, no matter how hard you work, you cannot do anything.
