IMD Update: Due to western disturbance, warning of heavy rain has been issued in Odisha. IMD has issued an orange alert of heavy rain with strong winds in 5 districts of the state for 24 hours from Wednesday morning, March 20.
The Meteorological Department says that on March 21 and 22, there may be heavy rain in Khurda, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack and Nayagarh districts. There is also a possibility of lightning along with strong winds in these districts.
The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of lightning and stormy winds at a speed of 30-40 km per hour in 5 districts of Odisha. The IMD has also issued an orange alert for Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khordha, Nayagarh and Puri districts.
Apart from this, yellow alert has been issued in Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts of Odisha regarding storm and lightning.
Bhubaneswar weather
There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar today. There is also a possibility of lightning on 21st March. After that the weather is expected to clear from March 22. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Bhubaneswar is likely to remain between 32 to 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature between 32 to 36 degrees Celsius this entire week. The temperature is likely to remain between 21 to 25 degrees Celsius.
It rained in these districts
From 8.30 am to 5.30 pm on Tuesday, Daringbadi recorded the highest rainfall of 26 mm, followed by Chandbali 9.2 mm, Jajpur and Parlakhemundi 8 mm, Bhubaneswar 7.1 mm, Cuttack 6.2 mm and Khurda 6 mm. Rain was recorded. Done.
