Adani Group has announced a big investment in Chhattisgarh. At that time, the group has announced an investment of ₹75,000 crore for the expansion of industries in various sectors. Apart from this, the company will also invest an additional Rs 5,000 crore for the expansion of cement plants. Employment will be created with increase in education, health, skill development and tourism.
In a meeting with Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani unveiled a major plan to boost the state’s industrial and infrastructure capabilities. Adani Group has said it will invest Rs 60,000 crore to expand its power plants in Korba, Raipur and Raigarh with the aim of increasing the state’s power generation capacity to 6,120 MW.
Apart from boosting the power sector, Adani Group will invest ₹5,000 crore to expand its cement plant in the state. In this interview with Gautam Adani, this information was given by the office of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai in a post on social media X.

Gautam Adani has reiterated to the Chief Minister his commitment to do work worth Rs 10,000 crore under CSR i.e. Corporate Social Responsibility in the next 4 years. These funds will meet the important development needs of the state. This includes important sectors like education, health, skill development and tourism.

In the meeting with the Chief Minister, possible cooperation in areas like production of defense related equipment and opening of state-of-the-art data center in Chhattisgarh and establishment of GCC i.e. Global Capacity Center will also be considered. Such efforts of Adani Group will create employment opportunities and further promote the development of the state.

The company’s thermal power plants are located in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand. Apart from this, the company also has a 40 MW solar power project in Gujarat. Adani’s latest plan is to set up 1000 megawatt (MW) data center capacity over the next 10 years.
