Shahrukh Khan is called the King of Bollywood, and for the last 32 years he has remained a top actor in the industry due to his stellar performances. But do you know that Shahrukh is not only a good actor but also has the mind of a skilled director? Filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane revealed this in a recent interview. Vikramaditya has been the assistant director of Shahrukh’s film ‘Devdas’, and he shared an interesting incident from the climax scene of the film.
Special use of honey:
In his interview to Lallantop, Vikramaditya told how Shahrukh took a unique solution to bring life to the climax of the film. He said, “We were shooting the climax of ‘Devdas’, where Shahrukh’s character was dying and Aishwarya Rai comes running to him. At that time, Shahrukh was lying under the tree and suddenly he asked an assistant if we could bring him some honey.”
Trying to attract flies:
Vikramaditya further said that everyone did not understand why Shahrukh was doing this, but he still brought honey. Shahrukh applied it on his face so that flies could sit on his face. His aim was to make his character look like a dead person, thus giving more realism to the scene.
Acting Depth:
Vikramaditya also said that it is the job of the director, but Shahrukh Khan is always ready to make any scene better. He is present on the set and tries to help every character. This reflects their dedication and professionalism, which keeps them at the top of the industry.
