New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has entered the world of podcasts for the first time with Nikhil Kamath, founder of share trading app Zerodha. Kamath released the video of this podcast on his platform on Friday. In the first podcast, PM Modi spoke in detail about global unrest, his initiatives like Digital India, One India Mission and many aspects of his life. He said that his risk taking capacity has not been fully utilized yet. We have to come out of the comfort zone.

While revealing his childhood, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he has faced many setbacks in life, due to which I am ready to take any risk. I have never been in the comfort zone. As luck would have it, I never lived in a comfort zone. Maybe I knew I didn’t deserve rest.

I’m sitting here in front of you talking, but I’m nervous,” says Nikhil Kamath, opening the interview on the podcast. This is a difficult conversation for me. After this PM Modi says, this is my first podcast. I don’t know how your audience will feel about this.

PM Modi recalled his first speech as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, in which he had said that he would never do anything with wrong intentions. They will never step back from hard work. I won’t do anything for myself. I am a man, I make mistakes too, but I will keep working. Never do anything with wrong intentions, this is my life mantra.

Talking about the definition of Mahatma Gandhi in today’s era, the Prime Minister said that Gandhiji was thin and not a good speaker. However, the entire country stood behind him. The reason was his liveliness. Also, interestingly, Gandhiji never wore a cap, but the whole world wore Gandhi cap. He never came to power, but after his death his mausoleum became Rajghat.

PM Modi spoke openly on Godhra riots. He said that it has not even been three days since I became MLA. At this time riots took place in Godhra. As soon as I got this news, I decided to go to Godhra. I saw the reality of Godhra with my naked eyes. His pictures were very pathetic. I took the responsibility and went to Godhra. The government officials initially did not want to take me there, because at that time the government had a single engine helicopter. There were no VIP people in it. I said, I am not a VIP, I am a common man.

When there were bomb blasts at five places in Godhra, due to security reasons the security forces refused to take me, but I said that whatever happens will be seen, but it is my responsibility to go there. Despite fighting with the security forces, I went to the hospital in Godhra and inspected the blast sites.

PM Modi expressed concern over the increasing tension in the world and said, India has never been neutral. We are in favor of peace. India has always been in favor of resolving disputes through peaceful negotiations. The Prime Minister mentioned an interesting incident that happened with Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2014 and said that when he became the Prime Minister, Xi Jinping expressed his desire to visit India and his hometown Vadnagar. This was because Chinese philosopher Hiuen Tsang lived in Vadnagar for the longest period. When he returned to China, he stayed in Xi Jinping’s village.
